Yes — start a 7-day Pro trial from inside the app (Settings → License or the in-app Pricing page). It takes just an email — no card — and every machine gets one trial. When it ends you drop back to Free automatically: nothing is deleted, and everything unlocks again the moment you upgrade.

Free sends up to 200 a day. Pro starts at a safe 500/day per account and, once a number has warmed for 72 hours, High-Volume Mode lets you scale it up to 5,000/day — 25× the free tier — with the same human-like pacing keeping the account safe.

Because it’s your machine doing the work, not ours. There’s no cloud to meter. A store sending thousands of order updates pays exactly the same as one sending a hundred.

Each Pro license includes one device (RSA-signed and machine-bound for security). Need more at once? Add extra seats from socialmate.app/account — $4/mo each on Monthly, about $40/yr each on Annual (the portal always shows the live price) — and every seat runs the same license on one more computer simultaneously. Just moving machines? Deactivate the old device from inside the app (Settings → License → Deactivate) to free its seat instantly, then activate the new one — no extra seat needed. Can’t reach the old machine? Deactivate it from your account and the seat frees once it next checks in (within ~12 hours, or 2 days at most).

No. You link your WhatsApp by scanning a QR code, the same way you link a laptop. There’s no business verification and no WABA.

No. Everything — contacts, chats, media, sessions — stays on your machine, encrypted at rest. There is no SocialMate cloud holding your WhatsApp data.

Automating WhatsApp can violate its Terms of Service, and no tool is 100% ban-proof. SocialMate exists to make your account as safe as it can be — an 8-layer engine, gradual warming, and a live risk cockpit — and we recommend not automating a number you can’t afford to lose.

It does, for one reason: the IP your account connects from. On your own computer, SocialMate sends from your real residential IP — ideally the same home network as the phone that owns the account — the network picture WhatsApp already associates with your number. That’s the safest setup, and no competitor gives it to you: they sell residential proxies to fake it, while you already are the residential user. A headless VPS runs on a datacenter IP, which carries lower network reputation — so for a safety-critical number, prefer the desktop app at home, or route the VPS account through your own residential/mobile proxy (a Pro feature) to stay on a residential connection. It removes a risk factor; it’s not a guarantee against bans.

AI generation (auto-replies, summaries) is on the roadmap and will be included with Pro when it ships — it isn’t available yet, and we won’t charge extra when it arrives. What Pro already includes is Agent Memory: SocialMate stores what YOUR own AI agent learns — a contact’s name, or a description of a photo/voice note — so it never re-asks or re-analyzes. SocialMate stores it; it doesn’t run any model itself.

Cancel anytime from socialmate.app/account — you keep Pro until the end of your paid term. Device seats can be added or removed there too, and seat changes are prorated automatically (you see the exact amount before confirming). Each subscription keeps its billing period: to move between Monthly and Annual, add a license on the other term from the portal, move your devices over, and cancel the old one at period end.
