Webhooks are reliable, but a receiving endpoint can quietly reject deliveries. Diagnose it in minutes.

Diagnose
- Hit Test. If the test delivery fails, the problem is your endpoint, not SocialMate.
- Check the delivery log. Each attempt is recorded with status — failures retry with backoff (5s → 25s → 125s).
- Confirm the URL is reachable. For cloud receivers, use your named tunnel URL, not
localhost. - Verify the signature correctly. If you set an HMAC secret, your endpoint must accept the valid
HMAC-SHA256signature, not reject it. - Mind the Free quota. Free allows 2 endpoints, 9 free events, 100 deliveries/day. Hitting that caps delivery until reset.
Tip. Subscribe to exactly the events you need. Fewer, well-chosen events are easier to debug and stay within quota.
